Loving the lifestyle at Peakviews

Malcolm and Jean Dixon have found the perfect place to embrace the next chapter of life.

Meet Malcolm and Jean Dixon, who found the perfect place to embrace the next chapter of life without giving up the things they love most.

“We’d reached the stage in life where it was time to downsize and prepare for our future,” say Malcolm and Jean, “but we still wanted space, comfort and a real sense of home.”

After exploring several retirement villages, it was Peakviews that immediately stood out.

“As soon as we saw the concept plans and knew that Tumu were the developers, our decision was made,” they say.

For Malcolm and Jean, everything about it just felt right. From the very beginning, the couple were drawn to the village’s boutique feel, generous spaces and stunning location.

“The modern design, landscaping and proximity to Hastings and Havelock North all really appealed to us,” they explain.

“There’s a lovely balance of privacy, quality and convenience here.”

Moving into Peakviews was a smooth and enjoyable experience for Malcolm and Jean, thanks to the support of the village team.

“Everyone was so approachable and helpful,” they say. “Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Now settled into the Villa, they love the quality and generosity of the home, from the spacious open-plan living areas and double garage to the beautiful surrounding views.

For Malcolm and Jean, it’s also the welcoming community that makes Peakviews feel special.

“People here are friendly, active, and respectful of each other’s privacy,” they say.

“The shared spaces, particularly The Clubhouse, feel like an extension of your own home: somewhere you can easily entertain friends or enjoy social activities with neighbours in a relaxed way.”

Their advice for anyone considering the move? Simple.

“Go for it,” they say. “It will be one of the best decisions you will ever make.”
